Memory Box Plush Heart Pocket in wool felt…

Pam Sparks Plush Heart Pocket White felt

I just couldn’t resist hanging this on a vase of winterish branches. One of my favorite things about Winter is the holly and the ivy!  : )  And that includes pine! lol

For this Memory Box Plush Heart Pocket I used Taylored Expressions wool felt again… love this felt and her gorgeous color choices.

Backstitching again (by hand)…I layered up the hearts and leaves for fun…not a fancy heart pocket but it’s classy lookin’ and works for Valentines and Christmas! Gotta love that! A cute pocket for a little note or gift card too!

I glued the heart and leaves on with Tombow mono multi glue (green lids).

Hand stitching in felt and card-stock is so easy when the die cuts the holes. Almost feels like cheating but I love it! lol

  1. OH that is just lovely!! The bright red and green looks so brilliant and beautiful on the white heart! So pretty hanging on your winterish branches! 🙂

  2. Love, love, love this heart….your “hand” stitching is so perfect. It looks like you did it with a machine. Thanks, again, for the google tip….stay warm!!! (grin)

  3. So pretty! I am envious of your stitching, Pam – my mother used to hand stitch evenly and with perfect tension like yours, she tried hard to teach me but I could never quite master it lol!

  4. beautiful and it looks completely natural next to the greenery! i’ve never had any luck die cutting felt, but you’ve certainly had no trouble with your creative projects!

  5. This is beautiful Pam, the white felt is indeed elegant and looks like high quality felt. I can see using these as wedding favors too! Simply beautiful!

  6. I had no intentions of either using or purchasing the MB plush dies. Now that I have seen your lovely project, I am rethinking that thought! The white felt sure adds something special.

  7. The white against the green is beautiful especially with the snow on the branches. I’ve been debating whether I wanted that heart and you made the decision for me. Great job!

  8. I love it clean and classy and cute! Your hand stitching is perfect. Something I used to do a lot of. So good to see this in our Stitching Challenge at Dies R Us! Now I’m going to check out what else you’ve been doing.

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
