poppystamps Seed Snowflake Joy Card…

It’s a candy cane JOY today! Using poppystamps Seed Snowflake Joy die, Tidings of Joy stamp set, twine and white and red cardstock!

I placed a strip of red on the white card base, then mounted the die cut white panel with foam tape to the red strip.

For the candy cane stripe, I cut strips of red and white cardstock with my paper trimmer, covered a piece of copy paper with tape and placed the strips alternating colors over the tape diagonally. Then I die cut the J and Y from that piece.  I used glue and stuck them down flat inside the negative cut in the Seed Snowflake Joy panel.

I stamped the sentiment with the MISTI….oh, I did that before I mounted up the panel though…

I really like how this turned out…another CAS card and so Christmasy looking!

  1. Such a lovely card! I love the red and white stripes and of course J❄️Y is a wonderful sentiment!😘
Do you mind if I use your layout for some of my own Christmas cards?

  2. WOW! A whole album….you have been like a machine…love them…I have a JOY that I can do this with…thinks for the inspiration….love it.. For next year. All my cards are out. I just did not get my Mojo going this year. Sadly. But now feeling more creative…but no time for Christmas cards. Birthdays coming…Have a Blessed Day Pam.

  3. Love this one too Pam! I have been wanting to make one like this for ages. Steve had his second knee done on Oct 30th-so I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I am able to sneak to the basement a little more now-so hoping to get caught up one of these days-ha ha!

  4. So stylish and festive. The stripes and snowflake as the letter o are great details. Thanks for joining our Christmas challenge at Inkspirational.

  5. Oh this is fantastic, Pam. So much awesome white space complimented by the red stripes in the diecut, the red behind the snowflake and the red in the twine. I love the way you placed the middle white panel, and the placement of the sentiment is perfect. Really fantastic card! Thanks so much for joinig us at Time Out!

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
