poppystamps Mistletoe Side Strips and Holiday Mistletoe Card…

Hi everyone!  I’ve been playing with Dave’s napkin die cutting technique again!  I finished this one up and then I have one more started I’ll post soon!  I LOVE this technique and how it looks finished.  My pictures don’t do this card justice! 😀

Here’s a close up of the Mistletoe die cuts painted…

A close up of the new poppystamps Holiday Joy die cut in shiny mirror gold foil cardstock.  Love that stuff!

ta da!  The look from the front…

I just love plaid this time of year…for Fall and for Christmas!  Then throw in gold and you’ve got FESTIVE! lol

Dave’s video is HERE.  Warning…it makes you want to do it!  Have napkins on hand! lol

p.s. here’s a huge phone picture that I took later… unedited…

Thanks for stopping by!  I’m hurrying to get this up… been mattress shopping online, ugh.  How to decide!  Kids coming in an hour so I need to get ready! eek! lol

  1. Beautiful card when I get back from Quebec I will have to give the napkin technique a try. Sunny day today but the wind is cold. There was a little bit of snow on top on Mount St. Anne. We will leave it here. Have a great day.

  2. Gorgeous Pam. I will send pictures of mine as soon as I make them into cards. It is fun to do. Some of mine had to narrow of stems and I had to throw them away.

  3. When I saw picture yesterday I thought colors and technique made Leaves look
So real. These pictures even better. This is a fantastic card….love love it..
Looking forward to seeing it at club next week…

  4. I’ve used napkins before to make cards, but only for the background or parts on the card base. What a wonderful idea using with dies. I love the way the paints “wrinkle” the napkin paper. I ordered all the above dies and word stamps. I can’t wait to get them!

  5. Beautiful card! Thanks for sharing the technique video. I’m amazed at how something so simple can look so amazing. Can’t wait to try.

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
