poppystamps Happy Easter Curve, Elegant Easter Lily, Ring Collage, Easter Egg Party and Tomei Branch dies…

Hello! Here’s the card I used the leftover watercolor piece from yesterday’s card on.  I embossed the Ring Collage die in the watercolor background by running it through the Big Shot with the Multi Purpose Platform on Tab 1, a tan mat, the cutting plates and a couple card-stock shims.

I’ve been thinking about this background and I’m pretty sure I used Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Peeled Paint for the watercoloring. I didn’t use this piece for what I originally wanted because I didn’t like the Peeled Paint in there but I don’t mind it for this card.  Tip: don’t throw anything away. lol

I like the Lilly as a silhouette in white!  The other card-stock colors are Memory Box A-2 Notecards.

Another close up.  The spatters are the same distress inks I used for the background, use less water for darker spatters.

The next card is a little more whimsical…

Here I used the new Easter Egg Party and Tomei Branch dies. I die cut them in white and colored with Copics. The rectangles are cut with the Rectangle Basics die set.

An ink blended background with some spatters everywhere!  And I mean everywhere…how do they get on my glasses and the floor?! ugh

Some of those sweet little sequins and a few gel pen white dots to finish it off.

Oh and a sweet happy easter greeting from the Easter Excitement Clear stamp set, inked in black.

The white Floral Dotted Border die on the pink card is this one HERE

  1. It’s always a good tip to never throw things away… that may be salvageable!!! (You’ve got to draw the line somewhere, Pam). Finding them’s another matter entirely!
Your hanging Easter eggs are so cute!
    Happy Friday. X

  2. Pretty cards, Pam! I love the soft look on each of them (I think I like the Peeled Paint in the first one too..). Great use of the die cuts! 🙂

  3. Such beautiful Easter cards – I am loving this color combo!! And the hanging eggs~!!!~ a hatchingly brilliant card Pam!!! 😉

  4. I love whimsy – so the Easter Egg branch caught my eye – how cute. I think I have just about everything to “try” and make my own. I’m loving your background that you did not throw away.

  5. Love both of these! Thought I liked the first one better until I scrolled down & found the second card! Wow! These are just darling! Soft, spring-like and perfect for Easter!

  6. Love both of your cards but especially like the blue and green card.Glad you saved the background which is so effective on the first card. the second one is so cute and happy. Really love it, too. Keep all those new cards coming’!! Great inspiration, Pam!

  7. Wow! Love the colors on your first card and the way you embossed with the die. I must get a tan mat. Why don’t I have one? And that flower border on the pink card — LOVE! And, oh my, the Easter egg tree! So much fun here today! My splatters wind up everywhere, too, including my glasses. I should use a drop cloth… but it might be hard to see if I put a drop cloth over my face. Oh, and BTW, you are way too much an enabler, you know.

  8. These are both amazing!! I love your watercolored background on the first one! That’s so pretty! And then those adorable little colored Easter eggs on the second one are the cutest! I want those eggs now 😉
