Liberty Tilda…

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

It’s Friday…time for a new challenge at Tilda’s Town Challenges,  HERE.   It’s Time to Celebrate… so get out your Magnolia stamps and see what you can create to play a long!  We’d love to have you!  Tilda’s Town online store, filled to the brim with Magnolia goodness is the sponsor of this challenge blog.  Every week a new challenge and a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the store!  Tilda’s Town offers free shipping to anywhere!  So awesome!

I love these special edition stamps from Magnolia!  Freedom,  something to never take for granted… right now in this country we feel like we’re losing it… so much government… what country would take me in?  I don’t want politicians parenting me, deciding what they think is best for me and that is what we have right now… so disappointing.

I’ve been to New York City twice…one time was just in the airport to go overseas and the other time I went to the National Stationery Show.  It was quite the experience but I was so homesick!  Our first grandchild was just  a few months old at the time. lol   All the people walking… and where were they going?!

Oh,  am I supposed to be showing a card?!  oops!  I’m back…  four new stamps showcasing the good ‘ole USA and the Statue of Liberty… so fun!  The Freedom Background stamp is inked up with Chipped Sapphire and Fired Brick and stamped on Kraft cardstock.

I stood Liberty Tilda HERE, on the Flower Wall Post HERE, and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  I was trying to match the color of an online picture of the Statue of Liberty…hmmm…. so I used ten or more markers and my picture makes her look toooo blue-ish but IRL it’s pretty cool!

America the Eagle and Liberty Banner are in the store HERE.  The chip words on the banner are from a package by K & Co.
