Hi everyone! I needed a masculine birthday card so I revisited some of the fabulous Memory Box nature dies that combine so well.
I love die cutting the Memory Box white notecards…a beautiful white card…just the right weight and die cuts beautiful. I linked to the white A2 size notecards below. I used 3 for this card with scraps leftover that I keep and use for other cuts/cards. Starlitstudio carries most of the colors.
The red plaid for happy birthday is from the Simple Stories Winter Wonderland 6×6 paper pad. (I couldn’t find it to link to)
I inked up the card base with a little Tumbled Glass Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool. I glued the Double Stitched Frame directly to the card. The oval dies were inked with Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs using a mini ink blending tool and raised up with mounting tape. Happy Birthday was glued directly on the top.
A fun Winter, masculine birthday card that you could glam up to look like clean, sparkly snow. I suppose, since it’s March, I’m not supposed to use that ‘snow’ word anymore this year. hehe Really, this card could work for any season with a few changes.

Hi Pam! I love this card. Beautiful colors and dies. Great for any guy but some gals too! 🙂
Love it!
Gorgeous!
Outstanding!!! Is it too late to start a ‘layaway’ plan for Christmas?

A beautiful masculine birthday card!! Wonderful scene with the deer!!
I love how it looks with the sentiment cut in plaid paper!!! I forget to use anything but solid cardstock… I even have a ton of foil and glitter cardstock I forget to use until I see someone else do something snazzy with their sentiment. Love this!
What a lovely serene scene, Pam, your work is always so precise! Thank you for sharing this with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
Fabulous use of die cuts to build your pretty little scene. Thanks for joining in with the challenge at AAA Cards.
Wow, they layered up so beautifully! Another example of why we need ALL the new release dies when they come out (yeah, right). That sure would be fun, though, ’cause look at all the possibilities. What a great masculine card, Pam! Love the plaid for the sentiment. I knew you’d make something amazing!
I love seeing your cards in our AAA Cards gallery, Pam – you have such a wonderful way with dies! Another beautiful card! Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
That is just so cool, such great dimension in your scene, and neat pattern for the sentiment
Beautiful scene, Pam, you are the queen of die cuts!
Really nice masculine card…I have both dies…will have to CAS….thanks for your continued inspiration
Oh my, this is gorgeous!!! The die-cutting, layering, touch of color, everything is perfect. Thanks for sharing your card with ATSM!
Absolutely beautiful card Pam!! Loving all the layers and so masculine!!
Oh what a great masculine card! I have to really think about them when I am making one, and we have so many! You did a great job on this card! Just the perfect amount of color! Love it! 🙂
I’d never have thought to use these dies for Birthday…you always make me think about things in a new and different way! Thanks for the great inspiration, my friend – beautiful card!
Oh my goodness lady!! This is just SO pretty!! I am not a fan of “Man” cards, but I’m a fan of this one! Makes me want to get out my MB dies and go to town! You have stirred up the mojo with this one! haha! Really love it!
Awesome man card – never would have thought to use it for a birthday card. Ideas ideas.
