Hi everyone! This card is meant to wake you up! Who needs coffee when you have all this color in your face! lol I’m still using up the brayered background pieces we made at stamp club Friday before last. This one is from the Desert Heat Kaleidacolor ink pad.
I die cut the panel with one of the Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangles dies.
I die cut poppystamps Garden Bouquet die in Neenah 110# Solar White card-stock. I put pieces of mounting tape cut to size, behind the flowers and stuck it to the panel.
I made the flower centers on a separate piece of release type paper with Black Nuvo Drops, then glued them to the flower centers when they were dry.
I stamped Birthday Wishes on the panel using the MISTI stamping tool using Ranger Archival Jet Black ink. For some reason I got tired of Versafine Onyx Black and am loving the black of this Archival pad right now.
Birthday Wishes and Sending are both from the same poppystamps Sending Scribbles clear stamp set and die set. I love how the sending die cuts! I stamped it first with the MISTI and the same black stamp pad, then die cut it.
I mounted sending to the panel with foam mounting tape and then the panel to the card-base with the same mounting tape.
A fun cheery card and a great way to use all those rainbow pads we have stashed away in our drawers! 😀

It’s great to see your backgrounds from stamp club!
So pretty! I like the idea of putting the Nuvo drops on a separate piece of non-stick paper first. It would keep me from messing it up! LOL!
Such a pretty and cheery card, Pam! But i still *need* my coffee. 🙂 i love the die; the contrast between the open and solid blooms and i love the contrast between the black and the background inks. I like the cooler black of the archival but use versafine for detail, especially on my heavy watercolour papers.
I liked the bright colors you used. Clever idea for using the novo drops
I am loving this – what a great card!!
Love the soft background
Gorgeous!
You’re just so clever! Those drops are simply perfect! What a fun card, Pam…thanks for sharing!
Lovely colors for a background, like how the black drops pop from the white
Gorgeous card & the background just makes it all pop! Love the dies & popping up the sentiment & flowers really added an extra special touch to it! Love it!
Super cute and happy! Love the die which shows up so well against your awesome brayered background. You have the best Kaleidacolor pads, too. Oh, and BTW, I’ve bookmarked the scribbles stamp and die set now. Love the flower stamps, and the very useful sentiments. You’re too much of an enabler. Stop it!
So very pretty – on this gloomy night!!
Oh what a great bright card! Love it! You can make some of the prettiest simple cards! Love it! 🙂
I have always loved the “black and white with a pop of color” designs, and this one in particular is a stunner, Pam! Love the way the background came out! Thanks for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
